A. The smarter, more realistic and witty Buddy Lembeck of the first few seasons, or...
B. The moronic, yet HILARIOUS Buddy Lembeck of the last season or two ??
My vote is a split decision =)

personally i like the buddy of the the first couple of powell seasons i think in the last seasons he was just so off the wall it wasn't really funny

I think the original Buddy was a bit too slick, if you ask me. He was very smart about things. He just didn't let a lot of it out.

The last incarnation of Buddy was that he couldn't even breathe without hurting his brain, so it just didn't work. He was too stupid.

There was a period in there, probably the 2nd season or so of the Powell shows, where Buddy is right in the middle, still smart deep inside, but outwardly does stupid things. That was the best Buddy, I think.
