As we all know by now, because it's on TV every 15 seconds, the anniversary of that dark day is upon us. :( Yes, September 11, 2002 is almost here and like it or not, the world is very different now. I know for many it is a day that we will spend reflecting on the past year. I just wanted to try to ease it for some, so I hope this little tribute helps you!

Tomorrow is someones birthday. Someone
on the Freddie board.

September 11th is my son's birthday. I think it's Chicosladysfair's birthday, too, if I remember right....

I remember what I was doing last year at about the same moment the first plane flew into the WTC... I was at the grocery store buying cupcakes for my son to take to his class in 3rd grade to celebrate his birthday. I still have the cash register receipt dated 9-11-01 and the time was 7:48am (adjusted for New York time, it was 8:48am)

Well as I stumbled upon words trying write about tomorrows anniversary. I came across a picture Of Ed and Chico that just brought sadness in my heart and compassion.

I just wanted to thank all of you for the beautiful work you did with your pictures. They are all so touching and speak to our hearts. I am praying for all those who lost loved ones and for our nation. We have all been changed by this horrendous event. I pray that we will all be unified and galvanized in our resolve to protect, honor, and appreciate our freedoms and each other.

Those whom lost their lives will always be remembered;
That perished on a day that'll forever be known as "The Dark Day of September"
Although the survivors are healing and were fortunate enough to once again see the light of day;
The fright and trauma in which lies in their hearts resulting from the disastrous events is here to stay
Hopefully this issue won't be used as a selling tool ;
But will be used to express the fact that we should've been united even before having this tragedy to go through
As we reflect on this tragedy and those whom have found their place in heaven;
We will always remember September 11th
