View Full Version : It's about time!!!!
brendon 03-14-2001, 02:05 AM I was just reading this weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly and there's an article on E and it it talks about thier true Hollywood stories and how popular they are. It mentions some of the ones in the coming months and CHARLES IS ONE OF THEM!! We can finally find out some secrets behind the set. It's long long
overdue. I can't wait till they give an airdate. I'm setting the VCR!!
Nicole's Boy 03-15-2001, 01:44 AM You're kidding!!! Somebody pinch me so I can make sure that I'm not dreaming! I really can't believe this. Oh, man, this is terrific news, Brendon! Remember when I mentioned how great an E! True Hollywood Story on CIC would be, way back when?! LOL This rules!
brendon 03-15-2001, 11:57 AM YES nicloes boy it is great!!!!! I hope its one of the long ones and not one of those rushed hour ones. What would be great is if one hour was spent on the 84 version and one on the Powells. We can finally find out what happened to the 84 cast! I will try to get a definitve airdate or at least a month. These true stories usually premiere on Sunday nights but the good thing is E runs them alot so if you miss it then there is always another shot. By the way nicoles boydo you have a crystal ball because you sure called this one way before it happened!
Nicole's Boy 03-15-2001, 06:09 PM No crystal ball, just wishful thinking. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I too hope they assess the problems with the '84 cast. Scott Baio's Celebrity Profile barely mentioned the first season of Charles in Charge. Let's cross our fingers that they won't do the same on the E! True Hollywood Story!
brendon 03-17-2001, 12:23 AM I don't know if there were any "problems" with the cast so to speak in 84. The show just did not do well enough for CBS and by 86 the cast was to old to bring back but it will be nice to see for sure. By the way, I was doing some researching and CIC finished the 84-85 season at number 35 out of 97 shows. For a new series that seems pretty respectable. Maybe CBS jsut figured there was not room for Whos the Boss and CIC both or maybe there were cast problems. We should find out in a few months.
Shapeshifter 04-17-2001, 11:15 AM I've been waiting to hear about this for a
long time, and finally it's happening. One
question though, which cast members are you
most looking forward to seeing again,
depending on who they actually get?
Pavan 04-17-2001, 12:13 PM Scott Baio, Nicole Eggert, Willie Aames, Ellen Travolta, and James Callahan they have to get!
The others would be nice too!
EdBrownJr 04-17-2001, 03:25 PM I cant wait to see that show. Im getting my vcr ready.

GET OUT OF MY GARAGE!!!
Shapeshifter 04-17-2001, 11:54 PM Personally, I hope they also get Jennifer Runyon and Michael Pearlman [where ever
they are], I'd really like to see what they've been up too.
I'd love to see all the kids and how they've grown, especially Michael Pearlman and Jonathan Ward!

um.. actually, who's the boss aired on ABC alongside, GROWING PAINS..
brendon 07-08-2001, 10:23 PM Yes I know ABC had Whos the Boss. I meant that CBS knew how popular that show was and that CIC was not going to gain any popularity becuase it was too similar.
