I love jalapeno pepper and from variety of peppers, hottest pepper I can stand is Serrano peppers. Serrano have between 10,000 and 23,000 SHUs (Scoville Heat Units), while the fireball Habanero pepper ranges from 100,000 to 350,000 SHUs. But Pepper X is the new crowned king of hot peppers with an average of 2.693 million SHUs which is ten times hotter than Habanero. Think I stay away from the new pepper :D

Peppers burn my mouth. I have a very sensitive mouth.

Some of hotter peppers on the market such as Habanero do burn one's mouth and they are so hot that I can't even stand them. Serrano peppers have milder heat and like to eat them raw so take very small pepper bites with my meals such as eggs, beans soups or cold cut sandwiches. And off course big pepper bites with pizza :D

I like hot, spicy foods, but I'll think I'll pass on something so hot it might melt my brain! :eek: :eek: :eek:
