Sobering temporal perspective realisation for me who watched Little House as a kid in the 1980s (repeats on ATV-10) - I realised that if a LHOTP "in-character" reunion movie ala the Waltons ones from the 1990s were made now in 2023, given the ages of the surviving actors it would have to be set at a point in the middle of the Great Depression!

Also, which Turnbaugh and which Greenbush and which Steffin might come on board for such a telemovie?

What about Bateman, Francis, Balson? Doherty is too poorly.

Those are interesting thoughts. I would love to see the characters of the Ingalls girls and the Olesons set in the 1930s or so, such fun. As a Charlotte Stewart fan of course Miss Beadle as well.

Yes. Of course I hope Landon and French's characters have had a gentler, less painful ending in-universe than they did.

It why i was disappointed that the short-lived Punky Brewster '21 didn't refer to Anna who Punky met at Fenster Hall (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judith_Barsi) as now having a happy marriage, loving husband and children in a decent area.

Yes, Grandma Walton is roughly Laura Ingalls age. Cool Beans, huh?

It would be certainly one way to get Elizabeth Walton to meet Grace Ingalls :)
