I follow another MD here on joint issues and he spoke of Suzanne often on his Saturday programs. yes, I'm shocked and sad. RIP Suzanne A PS: The way Suzanne took care of her health I was seeing her as being with us for many years to come. : Bonniegirl 10-15-2023, 09:51 PM Very sad ! I was shocked ! RIP Suzanne A PS: The way Suzanne took care of her health I was seeing her as being with us for many years to come. : She had been battling breast cancer for 10 years. It would come and go and return. Linda McCartney was very health conscious too but breast cancer got her too. I guess sometimes it could be genetic. Sometimes the healthiest, fit people get ill. We know some causes of cancer like smoking and other factors but there is still a lot of research to be done to find the causes and cures. Caroline13 10-16-2023, 03:53 PM Alan Hamel wrote this Love Letter/Poem to Suzanne and she was able to read it and died the next day as I read. https://people.com/read-love-letter-suzanne-somers-husband-alan-hamel-wrote-to-her-day-before-her-death-8358234 I just heard John Phillips who knew Suzanne very well, neighbors in Palm Springs and was a guest at Suzanne's many dinners she served to friends. It was a lovely memorial to this great woman. John hosts the program that plays the National Anthem. Lee 10-17-2023, 01:52 AM Rest in peace, Suzanne Somers Foggy 10-17-2023, 10:53 PM We lost a bright light in the world with the loss of Suzanne Somers. She was a terrific, brilliant, superstar comedic actress, entrepreneur, and a real pioneer regarding equal pay for actresses in situation comedies instead of just being "eye candy" in the shows. She will always be etched in our hearts as "Chrissy Snow" Rest In Peace   :trio Caroline13 10-18-2023, 01:58 PM A member on another forum I'm a member, sent this youtube today, we are discussing Suzanne also. I think I heard this interview is a few days before her death. She talks about all the falls she had. And she says :Don't Fall". and I say that to my friends a lot... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRVSODmQQiE&t=50s Caroline13 10-18-2023, 02:29 PM We lost a bright light in the world with the loss of Suzanne Somers. She added nothing funny to the show. I think they could have come up with a better character. Side note on Pricilla Barnes; She appeared in a play in Flint, Mi back in the day and my brother in law, who is a cop, was assigned to the theater to patrol. He told me that she was a real Diva and was rude and pushy. That is another reason why I never liked her on Three's Company. Caroline13 10-18-2023, 03:22 PM Interesting that I didn't know Suzanne from 3's company, I worked all day and never watched daytime tv...I know her from her health and fitness world. TJ 10-18-2023, 03:35 PM Interesting that I didn't know Suzanne from 3's company, I worked all day and never watched daytime tv...I know her from her health and fitness world. Three's Company aired in prime time in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It has aired continuously in syndication mostly at night since then. I guess you have never been much of a TV watching person. You are right about Foggy's beautiful tribute. Your post in this thread was also very respectful and heartfelt. Your original post in a different thread....not so much. That was no way to honor her memory. I'm sure you will think before you make another post like that again in the future. opus 10-18-2023, 04:05 PM Here's Suzanne reminiscing on how One Day At A Time was her first sitcom appearance (from back in 2013 in regards to Bonnie Franklin dying) https://www.facebook.com/suzannesomers/posts/my-first-appearance-ever-on-a-sitcom-was-on-one-day-at-a-time-i-was-very-nervous/10151354401003191/ Caroline13 10-18-2023, 05:20 PM This may be the last video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2-sTUqLoCQ Mr. Television 10-18-2023, 07:11 PM This may be the last video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2-sTUqLoCQ Suzanne and Alan really did have a great love. Very heartbreaking. When I first saw him interviewed with her I thought he was a gold digger like Tom Arnold attaching himself to Rosanne Barr. But he stuck with her all these years. Caroline13 10-21-2023, 05:25 PM They "stuck" with each other!!!! |
