Molly takes the girls fishing on the Hudson and they get stuck and require a last minute rescue.

Sue Ann becomes ill from food poisoning after Mrs. G prepares some special spaghetti sauce with mushrooms collected by Nat and Tootie.

Given that after the first four episodes aired in August and September of 1979, the fifth episode of The Facts of Life's first season aired in March, and the first season's final two episodes aired in June, Lord knows what the scheduling would have been like for a full first season of The Facts of Life.

Natalie comes out as a lesbian and everyone is supportive except Blair.

Molly fears going deaf and meets a blind piano player (someone played by Bob Ringwald) who shows her that you can adjust to a disability.

Considering Sue Ann was one of the most featured girls from Season 1, this should include Natalie instead.

Mindy Cohen is no Nicola Coughlan. (1980s butch dyke stereotype to Natalie: "I would rather run off with my mom!")

And being fat isn't a disability unless you are Jabba the Hut (or Pizza the Hut)
