Carol Burnett was the queen at spoofing, but not everyone wanted to be part of the joke.

I like Carol, but as someone who spent their career doing spoofs & parodies, I'm glad she was not successful in suing Fox / Family Guy:

"The lawsuit was dismissed, with the judge ruling that Family Guy had the right to create parodies, maintaining the reputation of both parties."
