As many of you know that yesterday was Press Your Luck's long anticipated Season 5 debut and I saw the first episode on Hulu this morning and not only is it Season 5 for Press Your Luck but it is known as the 40th Anniversary season because the original Press Your Luck on CBS had been on from 1983 to 1986 with the late Peter Tomarken and to honor this milestone this season of Press Your Luck has added a special spin called The Big 40 and if players land on it they win a mysterious surprise "can't tell you what it is because it's random. I was impressed with the contestant Tyler's skill and even though he had a rocky road at first he got back on top and if he hadn't won that Camaro he wouldn't have made it to the bonus round where he didn't get ONE single Whammy throughout the rounds but he won a metal detector as well as $200,995 in cash. Now that's a record in PYL history. And there are new Whammys added for this season and Elizabeth Banks "Wildstyle Lucy" is just fun and full of humor as ever this season

A saw a little bit of that the other day. The only thing I didn’t care for was the host for some reason.

Hi, Hawkee! OMG! The Whammies are back! PYL is one of the best game shows of all time! Fast, fun and totally unpredictable! I will give this new host a chance to prove herself.
