I have never known a Lowell in real life, nor have I heard of any actors named Lowell. What TV shows have someone with this rare name? There is Lowell Mather on Wings and Lowell (who they did not give a last name for) on Man With a Plan.

I'm a little surprised you seem unfamiliar with Lowell Thomas (1892-1981), great world traveler whose work included TV broadcasts in his long career though by far he was a radio celebrity. His son Lowell was a politician.

i always think of lowell,mass.but..daily daytime serial (as the world turns) had the lowell family for many yrs.there was judge james t ? lowell.......his wife (claire lowell) ..his children ..jim and ellen lowell.his sister....,etc..later ellen lowell-stewart (..many decades on show)..had a daughter that had quads with dr jeff & one of their sons was named...lowell ward.

Another Lowell that comes to mind is Allie Lowell from Kate & Allie, played by Jane Curtin.
