Which Kevin did ya like better? Young 11 year old Kevin, or older Chinese delivering sixteen year old Kevin.

When him and the cast hit puberty, it lost its magic. His middle school days were the funniest and the most emotional. I can say that the Wonder Years is one of the VERY FEW Dramadies that is actually like real life. All of his happenings happen to us, and we all try to change it the same way- and it always comes out bad. No one can compare their life to the Brady Bunch or I Dream Of Jeannie, but this show is REAL!:)

When he was a kid. The episodes were funnier and just plain better.

i like the junior high episodes with the younger kevin better,
in the earlier episodes kevin was a nice character
that i could identify with.
in the latter high school episodes kevin arnold was an unappealing brat i would'nt want to identify with.

the younger years , because when he got older he just lost what made him Kevin....that little thing he did with the raised eyebrow , etc.

I liked when he was younger, his character stood-out from any other character. He had a stronger friendship with his brother and with his friends, the episodes in which he was young were the best, and some of the greatest, they were also more enjoyable.

Younger. Anone notice he treated Paul like crap at the end of the show? They used to be best friends, and suddenly Kevins too busy hanging around with that other guy (Forgot his name, But he was in the last season). They even admitted that in the poker game episode.

Kevin was a jerk in the last season but at least he had more backbone. He always took the blame for people in the earlier seasons and that got on my nerves.

I like all seasons of this show but the last season is my favorite. Seeing Kevin Arnold all grown up was a treat to see. I absolutely love it when he gets into those deep conversions and his eyes starts to give you that "look". I absolutely love it!

I like him younger better. He and Winnie have a better relationship.;)

"That other guy" would be either Chuck Coleman or Jeff Billings (who kept coming up with three kings in the said poker game).

Oh, and I prefer the younger Kevin to the older one.

The younger one, those episodes were so much better then!

I liked the older Kevin better. Sure he became pretty mean, and cranky at times as he got older, but what teenager isn't like that? The young Kevin was pretty cool too though.

I liked him when he was younger, but I really enjoyed the later seasons when he was a teenager.

The whole point of The Wonder Years is that it was a show about growing up. So of course all the characters, including Kevin, are going to grow up and change during the course of the series. So it is not a question of the older Kevin being better or worse than the young Kevin. It's about Kevin growing up and evolving as he travels the rocky road from chilhood to adulthood. I thought the series portrayed this journey very honestly and very well.:cool:

The first 3 seasons were the best so I would have to say the younger Kevin. He defined "Young Americana".

I like the ones where he's younger best. Like the 2nd and 3rd season, where he's in Junior High. He was alot nicer then!

I liked him better when he was younger,and cuter,and clueless about everything,but i have to admit that i had a crush on the older Fred Savage.;)

I liked Kevin all through the show.The young Kevin was a cutie,and the old Kevin was a hottie.

The show was more interesting when Kevin was older,but i hated him.As he got older he become a hot-headed jerk who treated people like **** and then that annoying voice over would come on and reveal how Kevin felt 'bad' about his nastiness.Oh well,it was still a good show:)

The little Kevin was much better.Even the storylines were better in the earlier episodes.As everyone got older,and the storylines had to accomodate that,the show wasn't as good anymore.

Kevin became an emotional, castrophic mess and he was an ******* to Paul, his parents and Winnie...this is quite evident in the final season, pardon my french, but in the poker episode he leaves Paul hanging as far as the ski trip and he just got wrapped up in his emotional rollercoaster of a life. I know most of us like the Kevin from the first 3/4 seasons.

I remember that poker episode. Kevin wasn't very fair to Paul and then Paul was riding in the back seat while Kevin's new buddy sat upfront with Kevin.

The storylines got better, and more interesting as Kevin matured, so I'll go with older Kevin. Even if he was a jerk at times.

I liked from day 1 till the last day, I related more to his teen years tho.

I have a slight preference to the older Kevin. But I liked him throughout the series.

i have been watching all the episodes in order on the hub and have im on the 6th episode of the 5th season and finding myself extremely bored of the show now. seasons 1-4 were great for me.

I prefer Older Kevin's personality better but, I liked the first 3-4 Seasons more then the last 2. I still think it was a good show the last couple seasons just didnt like it as much as the earlier ones.

I like the younger kebvin the first 4 seasons were the best should have cancelled after season 5
