I just laughed so hard when in the episode about benji thinking beaver is a rock! It was so funny how they couldn't explain to benji that beaver was just at his aunts house and that they were just kidding around. I also laughed hard when wally said to june after she got off the telephone, "So Aunt Martha really flipped her lid huh?" (or somethign like that) and june replied sternly, "Wally, you get right outa here!!" HAHA!! cracks me up!!

I also laughed so hard when Beaver picked up the hideous blouse for june, Oo La La! Haha!!! I could not stop laughign when Ward said to june as she was walking up the stairs Oo La La!!!! HAHA!! Anybody else find that hilariously funny for him to say during that time period!?!? But i thought it was so touching how June knew right away that beaver was upset when he saw she wasn't wearing the blouse, and how it was JUNE who handled the problem and tried to explain things to beaver and NOT ward. I always like those episodes when June steps in, becuase it seems to complete her role as June the mother instead of June the "cook" or the "housekeeper". Anybody else feel this way?


I still cannot get over the Oo La La! I seem to like it when June and Ward Haggle, or throw funny comments at each other! It makes them more imperfect and more interesting than to be normal parents! :)

I agree with you about June stepping in. I don't think it would've had as much charm if June had sent Ward up to talk to the Beaver.

I love the part when Ward says to June "Oo La La" too. Barbara and Hugh had such great chemistry together.

they did have great chemistry, almost makes you think they were married in real life!!! which brings up another question, did they ever have an intimate moment or an intimate kiss?? now adays, they often refer to them having sex and they have intimate moments, i know we kinda of discussed this earlier, but i was just wondering if anybody knew episodes, besides the poncho episode where ward thought june might be pregnant. i think a great episode would be june thinking she was actually pregnant and telling the boys and them not wanting to have a new baby brother or sister and then they find out taht she's not, if the person who usually writes fanfics wants to write about it they can, otherwise... i prolly wil attempt it, but with it being so out of date to this time period, i dunno if i could write them to portray theirselves correctly. Anyways, now that i have gotten completely off the subject, can somebody answer my questoins??

I love it when June uses the word "ghastly" to describe her birthday blouse to Ward. Poor Beaver!
