To make things clear first and foremost, this has nothing to do with the WB-UPN merger to become The CW, since that wouldn't happen until Season 6. I bring this up because, Scarlett Pomers apparently said (https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/28373-reba/?do=findComment&comment=4305982) that one of the reasons why she lost weight so drastically was because she was stressed when the show came close to being cancelled, resulting in production delays.
