Tom Brady comes immediately to my mind.
Tom Brady would not have lasted in the league as long if he had played during the 60s or 70s when the defender had a free shot at the quarterback.
The other one that comes to mind is Michael Jordan. If traveling was called "by the book", Michael Jordan would not have been as successful on the basketball court.
