Why does some new home-electronics technology have to be hyped so much before people will buy that it works? In the past...Color television was a great example of this. All people had to do was see a working color set in a store window..or know someone who had one and watch theirs. Why did people not accept something that was PROVEN to work like that?

I do not like this new stuff thats out now,I think its crap compared to what we used to have!! (People have been dumbed down to accept less)

Thats why they have to hype stuff up now so its sounds better than it is.. (They know it isnt)

Everything new and updated, demands more $$$$$ from the suckers who buy into all the unnecessary stuff for our lives to be useful and good. It's sad all the babies being born in the last 20 yrs or so don't have a chance for a simple productive life.

Growing up it took my family some time to get a black & white tv, and then glory glory a color tv came into our home. I've said for a long time tv has been a huge downfall in many lives....
