Do u guys think ABC's new family comedies will be able do save ABC????

If you think about it all of ABC's HUGE hits have been family comedies:

Home Improvement
Roseanne
Grace Under Fire
Full House
Family Matters
Boy Meets World (Well started out as a family comedy)
Step By Step
Who's the Boss
Growing Pains
Brady Bunch

ABC has had success withfamily comedies, as you have mentioned. They strayed away from that format, and have paid the price. If they want to save their network, they would be smartr and go back to what they did very well with shows like Home Improvement and Roseanne - family shows that were funny.

I agree, I think ABC may make a comeback with "8 Simple Rules", along with a long range family shows that ABC does best. If they want to beat the competition, they have a good start. They have to get ahead of the game, and work with family comedies and maybe they'll increase their ratings. But It's up to ABC to re-invent theirselves.

I think it might save ABC, as long as they don't overkill it and shove it down everybody's throats.
