All your hard work paid off. I’m not familiar enough with Petticoat Junction to know they have an operator named Sarah. Your guess reminded me Green Acres does, but I do remember seeing her on screen at least once probably driving Oliver nuts like everyone else on that show! I remember Oliver took over the phone company and I think Lisa took over the operator’s job in an episode or two. It may be Sarah’s son who ran the company if I recall correctly.
