I always noticed something strange about the hairstyle of janet at the start of season 7-it was longer-the length-it was always short so was that her real hair? Does any remember how the hair was all of a sudden shoulder length

That is her real hair...she made a deal with the producers that she was gonna change her hair style every season, as to make Janet seem like a real person...(I mean, not a lot of woman keep their same hair for 7 or 8 years, right?) Anyway, she probably grew her hair out between seasons 6 and 7, on their summer hiatus probably.

Well actually she did have the same hairstyle for 2 or 3 seasons. I think it was from 79-82-It was the hairstyle she had when the opening credits was at the santa monica pier and she kept it until they were doing the opening credits at the zoo.
