I think Lisa Kudrow could really well. But Barbara Eden would have to be in the movie as well maybe as like a relative and Larry Hagman as well has to be there. It would be so hard seeing 2 different people playing Jeannie and Tony. But I guess having another movie would be wonderful!!!!!!!!!

Go to your "user cp" on your top right corner, then go to "edit options", and at the bottom of the page there should be a picture of your current advar and press "change advar". Then, you'll be took to another page, from there you can enter the url of the picture you want, or choose from an available list of advars. Once your done, press "Submit Modifications".

I can't anwser for a new Jeanie since I'm not fimmiar with too many adult blond actresses. However, I *Can* say that Scott Baio would make a *Really* cool Tony.

charlize theron would be great as jeannie.

I also think Lisa Kudrow woul be great. In fact, the more I think about it, she'd be perfect!

And as Tony, I don't know, maybe Tom Hanks?

Wasn't Alicia Silverstone mentioned a couple of years ago for either "Jeannie" or "Bewitched?"

Nobody can play Jeannie like Barbara Eden. She fit and played her Character perfectly, I dont think anyone could do a better job.

Lisa Kudrow is probably the best choice I can think of, off hand...she's beautiful, and has a good talent for comedy...

Of course, Barbara Eden HAD to be the most beautiful actress ever to star (or even appear) in a sitcom...there's only one Barbara :)

Kate Hudson wouldn't be a bad choice either.

There is only one person in the world who could play her correctly and that's Barbara. She made the role her own. No one would ever really accept Jeannie played by anyone else, I for one wouldn't.

She still looks good enough to play Jeannie.

It would be almost impossible to find someone good enough to play Jeannie half as good as Barbara did.

I agree.. Their chemistry on screen was so great.. I couldn't see any other actors/actresses do it the way Barbara and Larry did it. It would be nice to see a new movie, but I doubt I'd like it more than the original IDOJ... It just wouldnt be the same..

Jessica Simpson mentioned on the Larry King Show this week that her agent is trying to get her an audition to play Jeannie.

Yeah I heard.. but I dunno, though.. I just don't see Jessica Simpson as Jeannie.. To me, she doesn't really fit the part..

I heard the news about Jessica Simpson on the magazine show Extra. She said that her dream role is Jeannie. On that particular segment she mentioned that she wanted George Clooney or Robert Downey Jr as Tony.

George Clooney is a good choice for the role of Tony;), but I don't see Jessica Simpson as Jeannie. :confused:

But, to my opinion theres only two people that always be in our hearts for the role of Jeannie and Tony: Barbara and Larry !

Yeah , That wouldn't be such a good casting idea for Jeannie IMO , you need someone really eye-catching or at least someone that somewhat resembles Barbra in some way , like I said before I have no idea who you could use that would have the same style and charater .

speaking of lisa kudrow playing jeannie, remember the episode of friends where phoebe & joey are watching tv and she's crossed her arms & blinks?? each time she blinks the tv goes off or on, and she exclaims, "i'm doing it! i'm totally doing it!" then the camera switches to the apartment across the hall where monica is talking to rachel and keeps flipping a light switch off & on as she says, "i give up. i have no idea what this switch does," and she walks away. then back in the other apartment, when the tv is no longer affected by phoebe's blinks, she drops her arms and says disappointedly, "i lost it."
