"GILLIGAN'S ISLAND" TVLAND AIRINGS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2002:
Sep 8 2002 11:30PM 020 - St. Gilligan And The Dragon
The women of Gilligan's Island "walk off the reservation." Angry because the men don't keep their promise to build them private houses, the females move away and set up their own "Girl's Town." This is fine with the men until domestic chores and the finer points of cooking elude them. To bring the women back, the men plan to scare their female counterparts into seeking masculine protection from a dragon, which is actually Gilligan and the Skipper in costume. The monster invades the women's camp and the results are hilarious!

The castaways have an unexpected visitor, a surfer from Hawaii, who comes in on a tsunami. He captivates the women with his muscle and brawn, but they back off when they discover that he is a womanizer. Their only hope for rescue is to send him back to Hawaii on a reverse tsunami. Guest Star: SCOTT MILLER
Sep 9 2002 4:30PM 022 - Diamonds Are An Ape's Best Friend
A gorilla on the island, enchanted by Mrs. Howell's perfume, causes an uproar when he first steals her brooch and then Mrs. Howell. The baffled castaways discover that the perfume motivates the gorilla and that Gilligan, heavily scented, is the next victim.
Sep 9 2002 11:30PM 023 - How To Be A Hero
The Skipper is proclaimed a hero after saving Mary Ann from drowning. Gilligan develops a psychological complex, wanting to be a hero as well. The other castaways devise schemes to help him realize his amibition, but Gilligan bungles their every effort. After Gilligan claims to see a headhunter, Skipper dresses as one for Gilligan's benefit. The castaways then discover there are actually real headhunters on the island.
Sep 10 2002 4:00PM 024 - The Return Of Wrongway Feldman The castaways are revisited by Wrongway Feldman who has come back to the island for a life away from civilization. He has kept silent about the island and its inhabitants, fearing that notoriety would destroy the untouched paradise. The distraught castaways create a "city-like " atmosphere to disenchant the flyer from Brooklyn, New York. Feldman finally leaves but the castaways' hopes of rescue are shattered when they find a bottle containing a surprising note from Wrongway. Guest Star: HANS CONREID

Mrs. Howell, feeling cheated because she's missed this year's social season, decides that an event such as a big wedding would be beneficial for her. As a result, she engineers a romance between Gilligan and Mary Ann. Then, on their wedding anniversary, the Howells have an argument which leads to a serious rift, derailing romance between Mary Ann and Gilligan as a result. The Skipper and the rest of the castaways then plot to reunite the Howells.

Even shipwrecked castaways need a little culture in their lives, so Mrs. Howell forms a symphony orchestra. Gilligan is assigned to play the drums, but as he practices, a native tribe on a neighboring island interprets his music as a signal from their enemies and makes ready for attack. Gilligan and his companions are stricken with horror when they overhear the unmistakable voices of gangsters threatening their lives. Although none of the castaways has seen the gangsters, they all keep hearing voices issuing orders to "shoot to kill," and they are very afraid.
Sep 11 2002 4:30PM 028 - They're Off And Running
When Mr. Howell wins all of the Skipper's possessions by betting on turtle races, the millionaire offers the Skipper one last sporting bet: his 60-foot yacht against the services of Gilligan as the Howell's permanent houseboy. Gilligan and the Skipper accept the challenge only when they figure out a "sure way" to win the race.

The Skipper insists a stone found by Gilligan is the "Eye of the Idol," which will grant the finder three wishes before sundown. The Professor vainly attempts to convince the other castaways that there's no truth to the superstition, but when Gilligan makes his first wish for a quart of ice cream, he finds a the treat floating in from the sea!

The Skipper receives a blow on the head which causes him to lose his memory. The Professor tries to cure the amnesia by hypnotizing the Skipper and taking him back through time. While in a trance, the Skipper sees the other castaways as little children, then as enemy soldiers, with a hilarious and disastrous outcome.

Gilligan's fellow castaways are upset because Gilligan keeps a secret diary. Afraid that Gilligan may be distorting the facts in his journal, each of the castaways writes down his own version of the story of their escape from capture by a Japanese sailor. Guest Star: VITO SCOTTI

The Professor's newly-invented dye marker convinces the castaways that rescue is imminent and they begin to plan for life back home. Gilligan and the Skipper intend to join the Navy. But first the Skipper must lose 20 pounds to qualify, so Gilligan puts his overweight friend on a torturous crash diet.

Are there headhunters on Gilligan's Island? When a crate of magician's props washes up on shore, the castaways plan to use the magic props to scare the savages. Gilligan and company try to learn to use the tricks, but Gilligan accidentally makes the magic backfire.
Sep 13 2002 4:30PM 034 - Goodbye, Old Paint
The island gets yet another visitor: a famous painter who has renounced civilization. When Gilligan and the Professor discover the painter has a shortwave radio, they hatch a plan to steal it from him to secure their rescue.
Sep 14 2002 11:30PM 035 - My Fair Gilligan
Gilligan saves a life and is punished for doing so. Mrs. Howell, owes her life to Gilligan, who saved her. Mr. Howell is so grateful that he adopts Gilligan, making him Thurston Howell IV! Mr. Howell then puts his new son through "basic training" as a millionaire socialite. But Gilligan learns some painful truths about "noblesse oblige," suffering from his new responsibilities and finding the life of a rich man to be all too much to handle.
