Czas na Zywiec 09-07-2002, 09:26 PM I've heard about it a lot, but I would never do it. I'm perfectly fine with contacts. cause I've heard about people doing it, and some of them turned out better, but others sight got worse, even went blind. Now if there was a chance I would go blind, I wouldn't do it. Contacts are fine with me! Crimson and Clover 09-07-2002, 09:30 PM i cant wear contacts, they really hurt my eye and i hate having to remember my glasses all the time. JDS84 09-07-2002, 09:34 PM I'm a canidate when I'm 21. AllIWantIsYourClutch 09-07-2002, 09:48 PM My aunt had it done and she's fine. Me? I'll stick with my contacts. DarleneIllyria 09-07-2002, 10:25 PM I don't know if I would do that or not. The risks are really pretty heavy. I wear glasses already, and at least I can see pretty good with them. I'm not sure if eye surgery is a good bet though. You know what you may want to try doing? I was flipping through the channels the other day and came across a commericial with Mariette Hartley. She was an actress in the 70's. She was talking about eye vision and she started using some kind eye stuff and it improved her eyesight within a few weeks. What is the name of the product? Crap. Has anybody seen that commericial, or know what I'm talking about? I'll keep a look eye on that product, and if I see the commericial again I'll jot down the name. Mijada 09-07-2002, 10:29 PM laser eye surgery is still pretty new and i don't know if I trust it. Maybe I'll have it done in the future but not now Swimfan85 09-07-2002, 10:34 PM yah Ummm my brothers friends mom had it done to her~ Kay Scarpetta 09-07-2002, 10:37 PM Isn't it like, $3000 per eye or something? consentida 09-07-2002, 10:40 PM My dad had it done. He's fine. But me....I happen to like my glasses.... DarleneIllyria 09-07-2002, 11:05 PM The See Clearly Method I found a link for it. Just browse around the site and you can find info about the Method. http://www.seeclearlymethod.com/learnmore.asp It may not be the thing for you, but you can atleast look at it and see what its about. JasonD 09-08-2002, 03:20 PM i dunno. and i would never had it done. InspectorExstead 09-08-2002, 09:36 PM my mom always goes "when you turn 18 you can go and just get laser surgery done...." "18's surgery......" it's so annoying. i don't want to get it done. a kid did a report on that in my class in 8th grade. and then there was another procedure where they cut your eye open, while your awake. ew! but, i'm fine with wearing glasses or contacts (my mom said she'll think about me getting em! yes!!!!!) for the rest of my life. Ewan's My Man 09-08-2002, 10:00 PM My dad's an eye doctor...a good one tooooo...want me to ask him bout it?? He won't let me...sooooooooooo...yea MEGAN!!! WHERE DID U GET THAT PIC IN UR SIG?!? |
