When it comes to women in The Sopranos, there are certainly plenty that we see throughout the series. Whether it's Tony's family members in Carmela and Meadow, his insane and not to be trusted family members in Janice and Livia, or the countless of mistresses' that Tony has on the side, they can all be viewed in different lights and negatively thanks to being connected to an individual like Tony Soprano. But there's one female character on the series that never got herself involved with Tony Soprano, and she was praised for it throughout the series and made her one of the series' most likeable female characters. And this is the character of Charmaine Bucco. But what made her this way and why was she so completely against the mafia and everything it stood for with an individual like Tony Soprano at the helm?
