For many fans of Friends, Ross Geller and Rachel Green ending up together at the end was the dream. It would take 236 episodes for viewers to finally get what they wanted but it took quite a ride to get them to that point.
Although Ross had loved Rachel from his teenage years, it took Rachel a long time to realize that Ross could be more than just a friend. Of course the moment she decided he was the one, Ross had begun dating someone else.
The pair would finally become a couple, Ross' fear of losing the person he had loved for so long ended up driving a wedge between them. It seemed they were broken up for good after Ross had a one night-stand. Yet, fans still held out hope.
Their drunken marriage in Las Vegas would end in divorce and it looked like they might finally get together when they had their daughter.
In the end, it took a realization that Rachel was about to move to another continent for the pair to decide that actually all they really want is to be together.
With so much shared history, it would take a true Friends fan to work out which of the pair did what.
