Some Food for Thought Here:
Statin Use Linked to Dementia
Story at-a-glance
Having lower levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol is linked to a higher risk of dementia, according to a study of nearly 4,000 people aged 50 and over
A high level of LDL cholesterol was found to be inversely associated with dementia in the study participants, even after controlling for other factors that might increase risk, including demographic characteristics, health behavior, mood assessment and medical history
The association was so strong that researchers concluded a high level of LDL cholesterol may be considered as a “potential protective factor against cognition decline”
Your brain contains up to 30% cholesterol, which is an essential component of neurons and necessary to develop and maintain neuronal plasticity and function

Here is a Woman's Story about her dad:\
My late dad, long gone, I am 76 he would have been 100 this year. About 25 years ago they put him on Statins, all of a sudden he was forgetting names and event, most of all his joints were painful, well I put the Statins in the bin, within a week, he was his old self. He did not die from high cholesterol, he died after a flu/pneumonia shot... got it at 2pm was in hospital by 6pm enable to breath, sadly he died 1 week later from double pneumonia his lungs flooded. He was well before that, he was 85. in 2008
Youth is on your sides here, but you will all get older and you have elderly people in your lives.........
My parents lived to 91 and 95 and both had good minds when they died, they ate good fats all their lives and of course no statin drugs in their lives.
