There was an episode (https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/28373-reba/page/3/) where Reba wasn't working so Cheyenne and Van got (https://reba.fandom.com/wiki/Proud_Reba) food stamps (https://moviechat.org/tt0284722/Reba/58c7b762f9fcca09a0d66436/The-food-stamps-episode) and Reba acted like (https://www.tiktok.com/@becauseitwason/video/7233193152411323694) it's beneath them. So she goes to the welfare office to cancel them. In-between it all, Brock comes by with Barbara Jean asks why she's not still living off the divorce settlement. But isn't divorce different from your ongoing obligation to support your kids?

On a side note, did Reba even have a job before became a real estate agent? Why did it always seem like she was broke? Like I said, even if she didn't have a job, shouldn't she be getting alimony and child support for two kids?
