In 1991 Airwick designed it's most popular innovention that had never ever been used in history that could be plugged in to an electric outlet and no batteries were needed. The result Airwick designed.. Plug-Ins. And to honor it's success a series of commercials with a famous catchphrase that would be still used today known as simply "Plug It In Plug It In" Airwick Plug-In's came with a cartridge to put in the Plug In when you set up the Plug-In and plugged it in that let you smell wonderful smells for 30 days then you refilled with another cartridge. Throughout it's time Airwick made different styles of Plug-Ins each with it's own commercials and there were even Plug-Ins shaped like seashells too. Plug-Ins commercials and Plug-Ins themselves are still sold today by Glade and continue to release new scents throughout the year. Believe it or not my mother tried out Plug-Ins when they first debuted and the honest truth was they didn't even smell like the commercials said but I guess you can't always believe the commercials sometimes
