And That Is It I Can't Repeat The Same Postings And That's The Rules!

Look honey, you've posted that quite a few times with the same shows. We've tried telling you that the schedule is nice, but the shows will never air on that station. I know its a dream schedule, but the schedule just won't happen.

Thank you Jenny! It's getting ridiculous going to all the forums and finding dream schedule after dream schedule. If you want to post dream schedules, do em on your own computer (read my post in TNN dream schedule - or whatever), or keep all your dream schedules in ONE topic. I'm really not trying to be rude, and it's nice to have dream schedules, but that will never happen. Please understand, you're crowding the forums with dream schedules, and a lot of times, it gets people's hopes up (not me, but people in general). And I'll admit, I have done some dream schedules here, but I keep it a little more closer to what the networks actually CAN air, with a few additions of my own, lol, but I've stopped, because it just depresses you about what could be, so just enjoy what you can, while you can!

I'm posting my dream schedule anyway. This is what I'd like from 10pm to 3am, the hours I'm most likely to watch.

10-11 Three's Company
11-12 Cheers
12-1 Barney Miller
1-2 The Jeffersons
2-3 Family Ties
3-noon Barney Miller & Cheers alternating. (for nights I can't sleep)

Of course you can dream. Like I said, I have dream schedules too. But Harper49, all he/she does is post dream schedules CONSTANTLY, and it gets frustrating, but if you want to post dream schedules, go for it, just don't crowd up forums with topic after topic on dream schedules. Here's an example if someone wanted to post dream schedules:

1) Use shows that a certain network as the rights too, or have expressed interest in having
2) Post ONE topic containing all of your dream schedules, PLEASE don't crowd up forums with tons and tons

That's all i can think of. Anyone else have anything to add? And again, I'm not trying to be rude, just stating my thoughts! :wave:

I agree that no one should post numerous threads about a dream schedule. That's common sense and courtesy.
Beyond that, I think people have the right to post any shows they want whether a network has the rights to the shows or not. Otherwise, it would be impossible to create a true dream schedule.
Is there a rule or something about this that I don't know about or is this just a pet peeve of certain posters? I'm not referring to posting constantly about it--we're in agreement there.

Jan, no way is there rules against posting dream schedules, just suggestions, and probably pet peeves. As far as I know, there are no rules about dream schedules. I see your point on the shows rights, etc. It was just a suggestion that I try to uphold, but I'm not really telling anyone what to do, I'm just trying to keep the peace, because everytime Harper posts schedules, people get so ticked with him/her, and frankly, It's annoying me too. But I encourage dream schedules, just not constant posts. Hope I didn't offend anyone with what I said, they were just my thoughts, and except these threads, I've never said a word about Harper's dream schedules.

No problem, really. I can understand if it's abused, that it would get irritating.

Yeah, and again, I love reading dream schedules, but with Harper, it's just gotten to be too much, lol. Anyway, keep the dream schedules coming! (BTW, he/she has done so many, that's why some posters are getting fed up, that by NO MEANS means other posters can't post dream schedules)

I don't mind reading dream schedules either, but this Harper person keeps posting the same thing over and over again. Ignoring it doesn't work because he bumps the threads up and asks HAS ANYONE REPLIED YET?

Yeah, Jenny took the words right out of my mouth, LOL, I agree with her 100%. That's all I was trying to say earlier, but I tend to ramble on, and on... So that's all we're trying to say. But by no means are we asking all posters to stop posting their dream schedules.

Since I've just discovered Barney Miller tucked away in no man's land (2:30am, TV Land), my big dream would be for a non-stop marathon of every episode every made.
Can someone arrange that for me--you know, pull some strings...

I think It's okay to post dream schedules, I have nothing against them except when people overpost on them, It can get a little out of hand. I understand what everyone is saying, it makes sense, but I think these "dream schedules" should be at an all-time low, or otherwise they can be a problem. We all have things to dream about, but if they don't make sense or don't fit the standards for the network why post them? I'm in agreement that people can post dream schedules, but try not to over do it, lol.
