We know that during Thanksgiving is the time to relax and spend time with family and friends as we eat turkey and give thanks for all the wonderful times we shared with family over the years. Not only do we look forward to Thanksgiving but we look forward to the next day which is Black Friday and who better to promote Target's 2-Day Black Friday sale than Mr. Las Vegas himself Wayne Newton. In 2002 Wayne was featured as Target's holiday spokesman in a commercial for the Target 2-Day sale and this commercial featured Wayne Newton having holiday fun while telling you about the special Black Friday deals that were featured during the sale along with a very special Wayne Newton wake-up call that alerted you to get up and head Black Friday shopping that could be sent to you via your cellphone. This seemed to be Wayne Newton's only Target commercial he did as far as I know. But Target was sure smart to choose him as their holiday spokesman of 2002. It's hard to believe that Wayne Newton is still singing and still manages to do concerts but I never knew that Wayne did commercials in his spare time
