After appearing in "Blue Bloods" Season 5 and 6, James Lesure's DA Investigator Alex McBride mysteriously disappeared from the show's narrative. But why?

I didn't even remember Alex. But no loss, the addition of Anthony to replace him was an excellent one.

I love Anthony!

My guess is that he found other work.
