I can't. I tried to learn how to but I failed. I'll just stick to an automatic.

I've never tried driving a standard. I've seen some peoples' cars that have standard, but I think I'll only drive automatic. Standard looks too complicated to me. :confused:

I've never driven a standard, but I plan to learn someday. We were learning about standards in driver's ed. today.

I've never tried a stick-shift before. I've only tried auto. like twice and I like that.

I can! i can drive both. my car is a 2001 Ruby Red Mitsubishi Eclipse. A really nice sports car. lol stick shifts aren't that hard to drive

I actually learned how to drive on a stick shift and then learned how to use a auto car...But I can not drive either legally YET....lol 1 months till Drivers ed... Ugh

Yeah, LEARNING!! yay. I SHOULD be able to drive now, but New Jersey has weird driving laws....grr

I can't drive. lol i can start a car, but can't drive.

I know how to drive a stick shift. When I was in high school, my sister and I decided to pool our money and buy a car to share and the one we found that we could afford was a stick shift. I had to learn how to drive it after I got it. It's tricky to learn but once you do, driving a stick becomes second nature. Now I like stick shifts better, except for when I'm driving in stop-and-go traffic.

I know someone who used to go from 1st gear to 3rd .. I wonder if you could rev it up like crazy and go from 1 to 4??
