If WBK had kept the scences in the classroom more often, then the show would have been more interesting. I never understood why the show feature Mr. Kotter at home with his wife. Who wants to see that if the show is about Gabe kaplin being a teacher. I find myself being less interested when Mr. Kotter is home.

I agree, I like to see the sweathogs more often then instead of his apartment and his wife, I also think it was a bad idea to have Mr. Kotter tell jokes for a teaser, and at the end also, I mean where does that fit in, where's the logic? The show is meant for Mr. Kotter and the sweathogs, its a perfect match.

Yeah I know-I was going to tape the episode last night on TV LAND but when the show started the scence started in Kotter's apartment for the first 5 minutes-i hit stop on the VCR_and far as those jokes Mr.kotter was telling-were very pointless
