While it's admirable to some extent that Darin stood up to her in every episode to assert his head of the house schtick, it's fool hearty at the same time knowing that she could change him into a toad for ever and ever.

Probably not the top ten, but I always thought Lt Chapman (James Luisi) on the Rockford Files was pretty darn intimidating. He was only in 23 episodes, but he played real hard ball when it came to putting Jim in his place.
