"Mayor of Kingstown" Renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+

Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ crime thriller "Mayor of Kingstown" has been renewed for Season 3, TVLine has confirmed.

The release date remains to be determined given Jeremy Renner’s recovery, in addition to WGA and SAG-AFTRA’s ongoing labor disputes with studios and streamers.

I did hear about Paramount+ making Season 3 of Mayor Of Kingstown and I can see why they are making a third season. Because it seems to be a smash hit for Paramount+ and it gets great ratings. How is Jeremy by the way? He seems to be recovering marvelously and he looks awesome. You know which actor Jeremy Renner reminds me of? Jeremy Renner reminds me a lot of Harrison Ford because like Jeremy Harrison Ford has had lots of accidents and survives them all the time and I think they both have lucky four leaf clovers at their sides

Jeremy Renner is back in action on the third season of "Mayor of Kingstown", he shared on social media on Wednesday. The moment is proving nerve-racking for the action star a year after a snowplow accident that nearly claimed his life.

From Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the original series is currently filming in Pittsburgh and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions exclusively for Paramount+.

“Day one on set … nervous today,” he captioned a photo of himself in a suit. “Hope this works out that I can ACTUALLY pull this off for our production and more importantly the fans.”
