Does anyone know where Chico And The Man ended up in the third season? It was interesting to see that the first season was #3 and the fourth was #91. I have read also that the second season, it was #20. Not bad at all!! But I heard it dipped in the third......I`ve seen lists of top 20 shows by season, but where do you find the ratings by year for #`s 21 and down? Very interesting.....Chico And The Man is a CLASSIC by the way, by ALL means....it may not be a perfect show,.....what is?....but a Classic....most definitely!! And a personal favorite of yours truly......

I am not sure of the exact number in the ratings, but I found this on the website:

http://www.museum.tv/archives/etv/P/htmlP/prinzefredd/prinzefredd.htm

At the bottom of the article on Freddie it says "Chico and the Man never slipped below sixth place in the ratings when Prinze was its star." How accurate this is and where the show ended up after Freddie's death at the end of the third season, I'm not sure. There were 4 shows without him to finish up that season.

I don't know what the ratings were for season three. During season one, it was #3, season two it was #25, season three it was somewhere out of the top 30, and the last season it was #91.

I too had read that about the ratings when Freddie was on there. I know they went down after he died...
