You're number keys are white instead of gray. Haha, that's the only diff. I see. And for me, I do 2nd, Alpha (To lock the letters keys in instead of doing Alpha letter, all the time.

I'm not required to have one, and I'm in Algebra 3-4, or 2 in some schools. Maybe when I'm a sophomore??

Interesting...we must talk:D

Gregorio, that's a bummer about the teacher erasing your games. Everyone in my math class has them and the teacher is aware of it. She's cool with it as long as you don't play the games while she's teaching the math lesson.

I actually don't have the TI83-Plus though, I have an 86 to whoever it was who asked me....

Y'know, when I was in school (many, many moons ago) we weren't allowed to use calculators in class, let alone while taking exams.

The reasoning: not everyone owned one.

The schools simply disallowed all use of the machines since it would present an unfair advantage for the handful of students who could afford one.

Gee, how times have changed... requiring calculators.

In the math classes I had, they did provide calculators. The calculators weren't fancy or anything. It had the number pad and the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division signs on it. That's about it. People were quite careless with the calculators to start with, so that's why they never bought fancy calculators. I chose to buy the scientific calculators because they had more to them then the plain ones that the school provided.

The TI-83 Plus just has a few more features then the TI-83. That and it has a couple new buttons that replaced some form the TI-83. I have both a TI-83 and a TI-89. They are pretty good calculaters, especially when you can figure out all the programs in them :D
