Screech is another good example. You can also add Kimmie Gibbler from Full House to the list.

I'm not sure if he was bullied, but he did strange things for laughs.

Oh please, Frank Burns was a totally unlikable ass and deserved everything he got!
Ed.
dee2364 09-05-2023, 08:53 AM I think that Al Bundy was pretty bullied. Everyone around him lived to insult, mock and insult him, even the customers at the shoe store!

It's a listicle on a clickbait site. That's their target audience.
CJMD03 09-05-2023, 03:47 PM Dorothy from the Golden Girls. Always being called ugly.

Worst yet, some of those writers aren't even American. I've found more Canadians, Brits and Aussies writing these pop culture articles about American culture than Americans. That's what's particularly frustrating about this. Why write about a culture that you were never a part of and about stuff that was before your time?

The question was, who was bullied -- not who was bullied BUT didn't "deserve" it...!
Once Margaret turned on Frank, he was a poor lost soul without a single friend in the camp. After all of the verbal abuse from the Swamp occupants, and even physical -- like filling his air-raid dugout with water, and -- get this -- deliberately shutting access to the latrine when he had urgent need to urinate...!!!!
I guess you believe Frank "deserved" even inhumane treatment!
favoriteshow 09-07-2023, 10:55 PM I haven’t seen all the shows listed but Jerry from Parks and Recreation comes first to mind, and should be number one or very high on the list. He was bullied or teased a lot by all of the characters.
In the Office, Toby was disliked by Michael but the others didn’t have that same dislike towards Toby.
In Saved by the Bell, Screech was made fun of by Lisa, but because he courted her. Also he was always included, and viewed as a loyal friend to Zach.
Sandra on Superstore was teased but she was kind of weird. There were several weird characters and Sandra wasn’t always the main joke.
Rose was a main character on Golden Girls and I believe had many episodes to her character with a central role.
