This evening (just like most evenings) I have been racking my brain trying to think of ways to stimulate some conversation about some of these fine shows! My last attempt on this page was about three hours ago. In between then and now, I have made similar efforts on the pages of Caroline in the City, Friends, the Golden Girls and Mad About You. After doing all of that, I came back to this page and saw that my first and only thread on this page had three views but zero responses. As one more attempt, I decided to do a "Sesame Street" tie-in. In the past, there have been several cases in which posts all over this site have stagnated at three views. The first time this happened, I commemorated it by writing about the fiddler who sang a ditty about groups of three animals that all lived on a fat lady's lap. I have then done a repraise of this song on at least one other page. Because of this, I have decided to write about a different "Sesame Street" routine about this number. This being the case, I left this page and went right over to "Youtube" to find one. I managed to find one about three dogs whose position on the screen kept changing but whose number remained at three. When I came back here, the number of views was still at three! So here I am writing about it!

Which character said (to a response of laughter and applause from the studio audience no less) "I hate dresses. They show off your boobs" and in which episode did she say it? Hint: it was in the first season.

By the way, I honestly do not know the answer, but I know it happened and hope somebody can tell me.

There.

THAT is how you start a conversation ABOUT the show.

Even though I find your response a little condencending and even a bit sarcastic, I am still going to grace you with the answer to your question! It was Samantha (the youngest daughter) who made the remark about hating dresses and what she hates about them. It was in the pilot episode and it was called "Katie the Crook". The main plot of the episode was officer Simpson picking up the chiefs oldest daughter for shoplifting.
