This past weekend, the Houston Astros got SWEPT at home against their division rival Seattle Mariners while the Texas Rangers got SWEPT at home against the Milwaukee Brewers

Could the Mariners soon be the NEW Kings of the AL West and/or could this be a wake up call to the Lone Star State of Texas?

THAT'S THE QUESTION!

I would love to see the Mariners go all the way. I get sick of the Astros and other teams always popping up in the World Series. I'm old enough to remember when Seattle got this franchise (and also they had the short-lived Pilots in my lifetime).

Let's have some new blood in there. "GO 'TOPES!" lol

Seattle is on a pretty good roll right now. It was good to see them make the playoffs last season after a long drought.

Three AL West teams could make the playoffs.

Will Baltimore be the NEW Kings of the AL East? The Orioles have been a big surprise.

The Cubs are still in contention. It will be an interesting September.
