7 Biggest Frasier Easter Eggs & Details From The Reboot Teaser Trailer (https://screenrant.com/frasier-reboot-teaser-breakdown-details-easter-eggs/)
Paramount+ releases the first teaser trailer for the much-anticipated Frasier reboot, and it features several Easter eggs from the original show.
Hawkee 10-01-2023, 04:51 AM I saw the teaser trailer for the Frasier reboot and I can tell you that Paramount+ will score a high winner with Frasier's reboot and Paramount+ will gain more subscribers than ever before due to the Frasier reboot. But from the teaser trailer there are some problems with this reboot. Like how did Frasier end up with a son? and why wasn't Eddie the dog replaced with another dog? But the biggest surprise of all for me is the absence of Niles Crane because he was one of my crushes and I sure will miss seeing him on the Frasier reboot. But after success with Mayor Of Kingstown Star Trek Picard Star Trek Strange New Worlds and other shows Frasier's reboot will be just what the doctor ordered for Paramount+ to get huge ratings. This is one sitcom I will put in my Paramount+ queue to see how awesome it will be because Kelsey Grammer is still my crush. One last thing to note there will be a new version of Tossed Salads And Scrambled Eggs but Kelsey Grammer will NOT be singing it
Hawkee 10-09-2023, 02:32 AM Pandora is sure promoting Frasier's revival like crazy through radio commercials which tells me that Paramount+ is expecting high hopes for Frasier's revival to do well. I think the Frasier revival is like I mentioned before in my earlier post gonna be the top rated sitcom in Paramount+ history and if it does well who knows what will be next. A Cheers revival we'll just wait and see perhaps?

'Frasier' Review: Kelsey Grammer's Dr. Crane Should've Stayed in Seattle (https://collider.com/frasier-reboot-review/)
The Paramount+ reboot of the classic series has some charm, but wears thin when it increasingly relies on recycling the same premises.

Alternative Frasier Remake Released Ahead Of Official Reboot, Recreates “Most Meta Episode” (https://screenrant.com/frasier-reboot-remake-animated-episode-release-video/)
The alternate Frasier remake of the show's most meta episode is released one day ahead of Kelsey Grammer's much-anticipated reboot on Paramount+.
I saw the first 2 and liked both. Waaay better then the Mad About You continuation from a few years ago or the recent Night Court.
Frasier revival’s premiere pays tribute to the late John Mahoney (https://www.northwestsignal.net/news/entertainment/article_4f99c2fd-e826-55bb-90e7-2208b311d19a.html#:~:text=The%20episode%20concludes%20with%20an,Check%20it%20out%20below.&text=When%20Grammer%20spoke%20to%20us,a%20bar%20in%20the%20series.)
The episode concludes with an in memoriam title card that says “In Loving Memory of John Mahoney,” with a clip of Mahoney as Martin from the original series. Check it out below. When Grammer spoke to us ahead of the series premiere, we touched on Mahoney being named after a bar in the series.
Alan Brady's Hair 10-12-2023, 08:58 PM I watched the new episodes today. I've seen better pilots, but I've also see much worse.

Frasier Episodes 1 & 2 Recap: 8 Biggest Story Reveals (https://screenrant.com/frasier-reboot-episode-1-2-recap-story/)
Frasier Crane is officially back (https://screenrant.com/frasier-reboot-season-1-review/) on the small screen with Paramount+'s Frasier reboot, which premieres with a special two-episode pilot.
principehomura 10-13-2023, 03:11 AM Saw the first episode, and damn I am impressed.
I may be the easiest viewer to win for a reboot-revival show (I had fun with all of them so far: Gilmore Girls, Conners comes to mind), but all the doubts and fears I had with the trailer disappeared by mid-episode.
It is a sitcom at the beginning: plots have to develop, character dynamics need to be created, and so I expect some rustiness here and there. This pilot of course have some.
But the first stones seems to be put in the right place, and overall it managed to be entertaining, mixing, as a good sitcom should, laughs and heart.
Objectively it was not comedy-gold, but at the very least a good start that make me feel confident for what's coming next.
Of the characters it has stricken me David doing Niles' son, it really felt like his son.
And John Mahoney tribute at the end made me shed a tear.
Frasier is a pointless revival with mild jokes, forgettable characters and uninspired storylines. (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/frasier-review-kelsey-grammer-paramount-plus-1235611236/)
'Frasier' Revival Is an Unfunny, Uninspired Dud (https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-reviews/frasier-revival-review-kelsey-grammer-paramount-plus-1234841497/)
Paramount+ series brings back Kelsey Grammer's Frasier Crane and supplies him with some very cringe jokes.
principehomura 10-15-2023, 04:38 AM I've watched also the second episode ant to me it was really funny.
I like that the dynamics of the original show are overturned or repeated, the tastes in jokes and the occasional recourse to physical comedy (Freddy and David moving the furniture was the scene I laughed the most).
Frasier is still him, Grammer hans't lost his touch and still portrays the character as he'd never stopped doing it. But I already knew he was a guarantee.
David so far is the second best character, he really strikes as Niles' son and the funniest moments are his. I hope he will gain screentime.
Given the premises, it's possible to think of a love inteerest between Freddy and Eve: I doubt that they will seize the show like Daphne and Niles did back then; their supposed task is the most difficult.
On the supporting cast of coworkers, Cornwall and Olivia need a little adjustments, especially Olivia.
At the moment I am a little surprised by the negative review. Not on this oard of course, but on sites and media. I genuinely think that everything is in the right place, and certainly couldn't expect more after two episodes.
Supposedely it is a do-again of the original, with the same dynamic at the center and the same archetypes of characters. We'll see where we will go from here.

REVIEW: The Paramount+ Frasier Revival Delivers a Charming Old-School Sitcom (https://www.cbr.com/frasier-review/)
The dedication to an old-school format gives Frasier a certain retro charm, and anyone who misses multi-camera sitcoms should find Frasier refreshing.
Charles Knox 10-17-2023, 09:54 PM I'm watching this right now. All I can say, is it feels forced and unnecessary.
Alan Brady's Hair 10-17-2023, 10:33 PM I watched both episodes a couple of times last week, and just watched on the network now. It seems much better after a few days processing. Much funnier.
Frasier Reboot Makes Up For The Original Show’s Worst Flaw 30 Years Later (https://screenrant.com/frasier-reboot-show-diversity-characters-original-problem-fix/)
The original Frasier show may be widely beloved, but it doesn't mean that it's perfect. Now its reboot is making up for its worst flaw.
Freddy Crane's Recasting Continues A Cheers & Frasier Tradition Stretching Back Over 30 Years (https://screenrant.com/frasier-reboot-freddy-crane-actor-recast-cheers-tradition/)
The introduction of Jack Cutmore-Scott as the new Freddy in the Frasier reboot continues a recasting tradition that dates back to Cheers.
I'm watching this right now. All I can say, is it feels forced and unnecessary.
Was it ridiculous to have Frasier argue with his son over him dropping out of college and becoming a fireman (https://frasier.fandom.com/wiki/Frederick_Crane)? I mean, Fredrick Crane (https://cheers.fandom.com/wiki/Frederick_Crane) was born in 1989, so if this is based in real time, he would be about 34 years old now. Wouldn't it have made more sense to have such an argument like a decade prior?

Frasier Reboot Attracts Mixed Reviews, But Critics Agree on One Thing (https://www.cbr.com/frasier-reboot-attracts-mixed-reviews/)
The newly-released Frasier reboot earns mixed feedback, with some critiquing the sitcom's humor and plotline compared to the original.
principehomura 10-21-2023, 11:50 AM The third episode is by far the weakest at the moment.
To me it was really bad. :(

If you’ve read any reviews of the 2023 Frasier reboot, you probably noticed there’s been some disagreement. Is the revival of the 1993-2004 show a “Pointless” “eggscruciating” “unfunny dud” and “an enormous embarrassment for [star] Kelsey Grammar “ - or “as perfect as ever,” More charming than expected” or at least “okay”? Today, we’re taking a look at the new Frasier reboot so far, why it’s caused such a split in opinions, and unpacking if it really has a chance of holding a candle to the original.

principehomura 10-27-2023, 02:02 PM Episode 4, another bad one unfortunately.
The last two episodes destroyed my hype after enjoying the series' debut.
TSMIV 10-27-2023, 05:02 PM I thought the 4th episode was pretty good.
Alan Brady's Hair 10-27-2023, 05:54 PM My point of comparison is the new Night Court. This is miles ahead of it - much funnier and the characters are more defined after four episodes than Night Court's are after sixteen.
principehomura 11-03-2023, 06:08 PM I've seen the fifth episode, and it was a huge step forward.
Finally everything worked perfectly: the jokes, the physical comedy, the situations created, the characters interactions.
It was all done in a natural and funny way.
Glad to see the show really standing for itself for once.
So far the character that I liked the most was David, and finally they gave him enough screentime. But also big improvement for Alan and Olivia.
