In commercial icons there are some mascots that have remained a part of history for years and years. In commercials there is one famous mascot that is a green fellow who loves vegetables and began using a famous commercial slogan that is still used today. "No i'm not talking about The Hulk" but rather The Green Giant and I happened to find one Green Giant commercial from 1968 that is rare. Why is it rare you ask? Because it had a bonus promotional commercial. The commercial features The Green Giant showing off his vegetables at a county fair and I don't know who did the animation but it looked like a Rankin-Bass cartoon. The promotional commercial shown along with the commercial was to promote a plush Green Giant doll that a parent could send away for a child by mail. And when you see this commercial you can see that the doll of Green Giant is pretty creepy and looked more like The Hulk than Green Giant but these dolls are somehow a collector's item for commercial fans.
