Thank you Opus ! So far so good, lots of rain all day, heavy at times and windy, but as of now not as bad as I was expecting so far! ;)

But , I am not kidding ! We TOTALLY had an earthquake too! Seriously , a 5.1 up in Ventura County but we felt it pretty strong here, now it's a little more scary ! :eek:

Also thinking of Caroline, Hawkee, RAWR and Fleet who are also in Southern CA.! Prayers things are OK where they are too!;)

It's far from hurricane conditions here, media did a job on getting fear out there....and the 5. EQ wasn't felt here in Santa Monica, didm't know of it until I heard on radio. It's still raining but not heavy. Unusual summer so far here. They have Lahania in their thinking now.

Just so weird an earthquake hit during rhis hurricane/ tropical storm !! Got my nerves rattled, being we felt the quake here! :eek:

The EQ wasn't felt by people in SM and hearing there are dozens of aftershocks going on in Ojai. The brunt of the rain is hitting hard in Palm Springs, Indo and areas East of where I am. Unusual storm patterns.

But LA School system in all it's "lack of wisdom" says no school tomorrow. But Orange County schools are in session. Keep the LA kids in a state of dumb...thanks to the brillant union. Don't get me going there....omgggggggggggggggg

I'm not getting rain but it is hot where i'm at and it will be more hotter tomorrow and probably for the next week it will continue being hot

Breezy but not real windy . Sunny and mild temperature .Actually a really normal pretty day . You'd never even know anything happened yesterday except it's a little humid ! :eek:

Some areas were hit harder, a little flooding today and some trees down!

Did any good come of it? With the constant talk of drought, did any places get water they really needed? (even if in some places it was a bit too much)

Oh yes! Air seems cleaner and the mountains look beautiful. Plants and trees seem more green and refreshed ! ;)

Yes! Now poor Hawaii needs some rain! But not a major storm that would cause mudslides!

Wow, if it isn't one thing it's another right ? Prayers that we stay free from major natural ( and unnatural disasters too) for a long while !! ;)

And Hurricane Harold is hitting South Texas now! :( Prayers that they pull through !
