What would it be like if you and your friends could challenge a sports trivia ace? In the 2000's ESPN had that answer with Stump The Schwab a game show that is one of ESPN's classic favorites. In this show three contestants had to test their sports trivia knowledge while trying to beat The Schwab "who was Howie Schwab who was a stats guy for ESPN" through a series of rounds and the players with the highest scores competed in a special bonus round for a money prize. Stump The Schwab was hosted by the late Stuart Scott who brought a whole lot of fun and witty commentary to the show and Stump The Schwab had special theme weeks throughout each season of the show. Stump The Schwab was cancelled in 2006 but doesn't the format and playing style remind you of another show by the name of The Chase with Mark Labbett. I'm surprised that the creator of Stump The Schwab didn't sue the creators of The Chase for copying Stump The Schwab because this show is exactly The Chase with a sports theme and Howie Schwab is the Mark Labbett of Stump The Schwab
