Wow, I thought I had seen all the episodes before but today's "very special episode" really threw me for a loop. Mindy Cohen as Buddy's alcoholic sister Bunny?! That was just plain strange. This episode was horrible. I wouldn't have minded so much if they had tried tackling the issue over the course of a double episode, but for everything to present itself and then neatly wrap itself up in a half an hour? C'mon. Maybe I'm just upset because I thought Tootie would have made a better casting choice as the Lembeck sister.

I too thought that there were many plot holes in this episode. Such as:

1) why did Bunny start failing her classes?
2) why did she come to see Buddy if they were not that close?
3) why wasn't there any police activity after Bunny smashed up the car while drunk?
4) why did the kids get into the car with her if they knew she was sloshed?
5) why did Bunny go to an AA meeting there in New Brunswick right before she was supposed to go to the airport to go back to California? Couldn't she have gone when she got back home?

I agree that they should have probably given this treatment two episodes.
