I bought 2 pillowcases on Amazon. They arrived Friday and on Sunday I got an email from the company that makes them telling me how to use them.

Maybe they thought that for 2 days I was struggling in anguish over what to do.

So for your education and entertainment, here, cut and pasted directly from the email, is how to put on a pillowcase

How to Put on the Pillowcase

1. Place the pillow between your chin and chest and hold it tightly. Make sure the pillow is held in the lengthwise position toward the floor.

2. Grasp the open end of the pillowcase with both hands. Place the pillowcase below the pillow and slide the open end of the pillowcase up and over the pillow.

3. Let go of the pillow between the chest and chin and shake the pillowcase over the pillow with both hands.

One of my favorite Johnny Carson's lines ever was him saying that (then) Prince Charles had such a weak chin that it took him 4 hours to change a pillowcase.

Opus, I really don't know how I do it ? :crazy:To be honest , I just do it instinctively and don't really know when I'm not putting on a pillow case. If that makes sense?

I'm doing laundry Wed. including bed sheets! I will take note when I change out the pillow cases and let you know ! ;)

Is this what the country as gone to, not being able to use "critical thinking skills?"

Now, what happens if the pillowcase is split in the middle with the opening instead of the opening being on the end ? :lol::lol:

Foggy, thinking this more and more, our country is gone...all run by machines and forget the people, they had nothing to do with it all ... my long life, they were critical and I miss miss miss them .... I go to them as much as I can when I know a Person could be on the other side.

The pillow case thing, no critical thinking needed, just plain common sense, even my old dad could have put one on and he did nothing to make our house work, but bring home the pay...
