I had not heard of this show until I was looking through my primetime directory trying to see what made Barry Gordon a former child star (what it says on the Fish description). Good Time Harry starred Ted Bessell from That Girl and also had Marcia Strassman who was fresh off Welcome Back, Kotter. Yet NBC was trying to bury it, airing Saturdays at 10:30 as a summer burn-off in 1980. The only hour of sitcoms on their fall schedule from 1979 was Diff'rent Strokes and Hello, Larry. They still would have needed a 4th sitcom to create a 2 hour block. Good Time Harry is so little known because of that quick summer burial that it is not on epguides.com.

Speaking of Diff'rent Strokes, I didn't realize fall 1979 (season 2) was its first on the starting lineup. 1978, while a November premiere, was filling in for The Waverly Wonders which must have been a big bomb. Joe Namath's sitcom career was not nearly as successful as his football career, The Waverly Wonders had more unaired episodes (5) than aired episodes (4).
