It’s sort of like Grease 2 in that it doesn’t exist to most people. Penny Lane 08-03-2023, 02:48 PM There is a sequel, but I’ve never seen it. It’s sort of like Grease 2 in that it doesn’t exist to most people. I have seen the sequel. Not too good but it covers what happened to the characters. Toad and Debbie got married Steve and Laurie got married. John Milner was killed by a drunk driver and Curt moved to Canada. That's all I remember. Torgo 08-03-2023, 06:42 PM I like the sequel. I have the DVD set that contains both movies. My dad had the soundtrack album, as a kid I listened many times before I even watched the movie. AMackII 08-03-2023, 08:48 PM Happy Golden Anniversary, American Graffiti. It features a pre-Happy Days Ron Howard in a classic film. Penny Lane 08-03-2023, 09:22 PM I like the sequel. I should give it another chance I guess! Yeah, the soundtrack is great!:) biffbronson 08-04-2023, 07:31 AM I like American Graffiti, I've watched it several times. I remember the first time I saw it, I was a little confused about Wolfman Jack -- I didn't know about how long his career had been. Also, since then I've become a bigger fan of Cindy Williams, so that's added to my interest in the film. Torgo 08-04-2023, 08:16 AM I haven't watched it in years. I should give it another chance I guess! Yeah, the soundtrack is great!:) Don't get me wrong, it's definitely no where as good as the original. But, I like that it shows us the characters in their adult lives, it wasn't just a rehash of the first movie. ThisLittlePiggy 08-04-2023, 11:09 AM It is definitely up there amongst my favorite movies of all time. I must have seen it ten or fifteen times. And I love the way that Milner finally warmed up to her and made her feel special:) ThisLittlePiggy 08-04-2023, 11:45 AM ^That is one of my favorite parts too! |
