Until today I had never seen this spin-off of Barney Miller. While not on the same level as the parent show of course, I got through the first 8 episodes today and really liked it. It was nice to see more of Bernice and Jilly, a very young Todd Bridges before Diff'rent Strokes, and Abe Vigoda as the main star. Episode 8 has Steve Landesberg crossing over as Arthur Dietrich, which IMDB missed.

I have not seen that show in years so I don't remember it very well. I sort of think I liked it though. :)

I have seen the entire Fish series now. Still pretty good, but Charlie missed the last five episodes and wasn't even mentioned. I am glad Harriet the hussy wasn't in more than two episodes. :rolleyes: And a few continuity errors for such a short-lived show: Fish the dog wasn't seen after its introduction episode, and the Mexican kid who joined in the season 1 finale never appeared or was mentioned again.
