I haven't seen it here in Boston, and I watch a lot of TV. Perhaps it's not a national ad campaign. I'd love to see it.

I saw it on ESPN during SportsCenter, I guess we will see if other people have seen it yet. It may be brand new.

I have not seen it yet, but now that I know it's out there, I'll keep an eye out for it. Is it just the music or are there lyrics as well?

I saw it! I'm here in the little state of RI.........so if it's here, it's gotta be spreading. I was doing my extensive homework, when I heard the theme song. I jumped up as fast as I could to watch it. Oh, briandamage, it does have the lyrics.

If it's a UPS commercial, it has to be national. It's not like it's for the New England Postal service or something like that.

Lots of national products, such as McDonalds etc run different commercials in different parts of the country.
I haven't seen the UPS ad in Boston, but I'm keeping my eyes out for it.

I saw the ad. It's pretty cool--different singers. They must have paid a bundle for the rights to the song.

I only saw it once and not from the beginning, but I think just the chorus is sung ~Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came~
It shows UPS drivers delivering packages to smiling satisfied customers.
The idea being I guess that customers bond with the UPS guys, which isn't the case where I live. I have deliveries all the time--love that online shopping--and I rarely get the same guy twice.
In the business world though, it's common for drivers to have the same route.

I caught the tail end of it where I just heard the music and I didn't really see a picture or anything, I guess I shouldn't channel surf so much....:jar:

i finally saw the whole thing finally. it has the beginning notes, then kinda like a short theme (but not) it goes right into the refrain. (sometimes u wanna go...) it has one guy delivering a package and the lady says "nice haircut." or something. then they UPS guy says "do u think its too short?" (isnt that a woody line??). then it goes straight from "and theyre always glad u came. u wanna be where everybody knows your name." then it plays the ending

i dunno...it almost sounds like Gary Portnoy(the original guy who sang it), then it doesnt. i really only thought it sounded like him during the 2 lines (where everybody knows your name/and theyre always glad you came), where they sang the harmony too.

i still havent recorded it yet! lol

I was golfing with my gym class the other day and saw the commercial in the lounge. I started freaking out and everyone was like "What" and I just kept pointing. I was a little iappointed though, I thought it was a commercial for Cheers, but needless to say, it made my day :)

Not to get off topic, but I like your screen name DansonQueen. It's very catchy in an ABBA sort of way.

I've seen it a few times...it is a bit hokey.

Did anyone notice that one of the actors in the commercial looks alot like Woody?
