I ask this, because Kel managed to score 98 out of 100 on an IQ test, and he's actually sometimes been the voice of reason on Kenan's schemes. I don't think he's as dumb as led to believe. Sure, he was hyper, clumsy and lacked social skills, but Steve Urkel from Family Matters was like that too, but he was a genius otherwise.

Maybe he's more comparable to Screech from Saved by the Bell, whom was like smart and dumb at the same time, if that makes sense.
