Maybe Rollo should have told Aunt Esther about it. She and her bible carrying lady friends will be over at Sanfords in a minute :D

Not really. It was more of a shock than "gossip". If you saw your best friend's dad going into a gay bar you wouldn't tell him? Telling someone like Aunt Esther doesn't seem like the thing a true friend would do. Not because Esther is a gossip but because Rollo and Esther are not equals and I am pretty sure they don't have a social relationship. He respects her as his mom's friend and his elder. That would be similar to me at 18 going to my best friend Shawn's mom who was in her mid 40s then and talking about this chick and that chick. Kinda disrespectful and I would not do that.

No, telling someone else and it turns into the "telephone game". The story (which was innocent to begin with) will transform and morph into something else. You saw how upset Lamont was when Rollo kept adding to the story, "And they was wearing DARK GLASSES!" "Now look Rollo, that's my old man u talkin' about, now!" Naaaah, I'd RESPECTFULLY tell Lamont! That whole episode was based on a play/movie (starring Redd) Norman, Is That You? FUNNY

Exactly, Lamont is not going to find humor in hearing his dad might be gay:lol:
